MICA’s programmes will offer Singaporeans more choices to work, learn and play, as well as more diverse paths to achieve individual aspirations. The development of the Creative Industries will spark off new and exciting employment opportunities for people in such areas as industrial and web design, film, television, fashion, mobile content, video and on-line games, publishing and music recording. This will contribute towards Singapore’s vision of a diversified, entrepreneurial and globalised economy. The Renaissance City 2.0, DesignSingapore and Media 21 programmes will focus on the development of creative capabilities to fully exploit opportunities within and beyond the creative industries.
